What is it
Remediation is the term used when the earth is in need to be treated because of contamination or because its strength isn't high enough to develop on.
Here are some different techniques
Remediation techniques which have are commonly used include: containment, pump-and-treat, extraction, stabilization/solidification, soil washing, air stripping, precipitation, vitrification, thermal desorption and biological remediation.
